I am attending a southeast regional meeting of DSA (Dragonfly Assoc. of the Americas) in Sanford, North Carolina. @rlephoto lives in this area and is one of our leaders and took us to many great spots to look for a number of target species on May. 11.

This was certainly one of our target species of the day. Superficially similar to Lancet Clubtail, but note how relatively long and slender it is overall along with the elongated S9 and lack of yellow on dorsal side of S9. Quite different looking in the field.
