Shrubby plant

Shrubby, rigid, unarmed, divaricately much branched, about 700 mm in height; Twigs thinly fleshy, glabrate, blue-green to meroon in colour; Leaves sessile, rough on the touch, - basal leaves large and pinnately lobed, then alternately spaced and much smaller higher up on the stems.
