Description

Found near its egg masses (2nd & 3rd images) and likely sponge prey (4th image, of a plakinid, likely a species of Oscarella) on the underside of a cobble in in tide pool.

Formerly considered B. stellata, but described as new by Ghanimi et al. (2020) after showing Caribbean specimens differ from B. stellata from the Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean.
