Uncommon - noted on a fallen canopy branch (species unknown) lying amongst Passiflora caerulea.
Upper thallus dark red-brown when fresh, punctate impressed, sorediate, soredia forming a pseudoisidiate crust centrally; thallus lobes broad; thallus undersides bullate, densely covered in dark chocolate brown tomentum, pseudocyphellae large, copious, mostly seen toward thallus apices. Apothecia not seen.
