The ambersnails are positively everywhere. Update 8/31/12 - Thanks so much to fellow NatureShare member Nick Hull for helping to ID the Ambersnail and to the folks at Jaxshells who, awesomely, do a snail survey in VT and have great documentation and answer their emails super quick! 8/30/12 - These iridescent, translucent yellow snails are so prevalent in my yard that they make gardening impossible, even with pesticides, unless that were my full time job. Would love to know what they're called. While your at it, what about the little black one there? That's the only one of that variety that I've ever seen.
