The photo evidence is terrible, but it's the best I could do in a dark basement with a phone and a flashlight. Thus began the season of starlings down the furnace pipe. We had to take the pipe apart each time, they'd get loose in the basement, and then eventually fly out the one small window down there to freedom. Just a reminder to get the chimney cap replaced!
