Although two species of mole crab are reported to occur on the gulf side of Florida, I'm having no success finding any info on how to distinguish the two, E. benedicti and E. talpoida. It appears that benedicti should be the more numerous/expected species in the Florida panhandle*, but I don't want to play probabilities without further information.
