Description

Growing on dead twigs and branches in a damp shady area of shrubs adjacent to Lake Rotorua.
The spores are sub-globose to globose, size approx 8um x 7–8um. Spores inamyloid. It seems that the stipewas laterallyattached when the basidiome was young, eventually disintegrated and attachment to the substrate was achieved by the "hairs" on the pileipellis.
Cheimonophyllum is what it keyed out to using Horak's key in Vol 1 "Introduction to Fungi of New Zealand".
