Woody shrub approximately 2-3 foot tall
Reddish brown stem and branches
Large, simple, opposite, elliptic leaves with parallel veins and smooth edges/margins
Small to medium sized white yellowish/greenish berries clustered at the top
The leaves at the top of the stem are smaller than the other leaves
Native to Southern Alberta
