This had me a bit perplexed. There were a few clumps of hair that appeared to have been pulled out by the root lying alongside the trail. A lot of "clean" ends from the root side, like a couple of finger-fulls or so were all yanked out at once. Not a ton of it--mostly just what I photographed. And no other evidence surrounding as to what might have happened or clues as to the source. They were mostly gray-white, coarse, and about 2 inches long. Fight?
