My second time finding this interesting lichen in the Bay Area. Again, it was growing on the Miocine bivalve fossil rocks in what I think is the Briones Formation. Despite lots and lots of rocks like this at Shell Ridge, this was the only little patch of Dermatocarpon I found on my walk.
