This looks a bit like the Fusinus (Spindle Shell) but I wasn't confident.
If so, it got 'taken out' fairly early in life - image 3 gives an indication of the size (apologies for lack of focus).
The little black dot in the first image is a hole, which may point to the cause of its demise.
