What's up?

Snake which was reluctant to move. Very large swelling along its body. Observed it for quite a few minutes and it was not going to move off. Thought much later on during the that perhaps it was birthing? Longest skaapsteker that I have seen, about 90cm. Walking a step or two further another one slithered past, fast,slim and agile and down a hole, gone! Had this one been watching us all the time?
