Collected at Fessenden Springs with researchers Chad Norris (TPWD) and Tom Devitt (UT). After genomic assessment of Eurycea in Texas, it is believed that populations in Kerr County belong to a new undescribed species (sp2) being split from Eurycea troglodytes.
