I saw Sudan just a little over two years ago at Ol Pejeta Conservancy and when he died, I was heart-broken. I brought this up again because in a month from now, Sudan will have been gone for a year (leaving only his daughter and grand-daughter to continue the legacy of the Northern White Rhinos) so that we could maybe start a discussion about the plight of species such as Sudan's. What's the worth of studying and observing nature if we can't protect it?
