Along the Ozark Highlands Trail (here known as David's Trail) at the eagle nest. This nest has been well known for several years and is even marked on the local trail map posted by trail managers. I noted two birds on the nest as I was leaving the area but none at first. Earlier, I saw two dark colored eagles fly over this nest, quite near (less than 50 meters and perhaps 20 meters from the nest) that may have been Golden Eagles or young Bald Eagles, while these two other eagles were on the nest.
