Hangklip Restio flannel type 2 currently being reared

Collected a second individual of this familiar flannel pillar on Restio sp. near the summit of Hangklip peak. I've tried to rear this spieces before, but can never get them to survive to pupa stage. Hoping these guys will make it.

2 April 2019:

The caterpillar also accepted some of the Erica coccinea I collected for its friend, in fact it seems to prefer it. I think these guys may require a variety of food plants, so the rearing will no doubt continue to be a challenge.
