Discovered this freshly impaled small rodent about three meters up in a cedar tree while banding the breeding Loggerhead Shrike responsible for the kill. Banded shrike details: male, band# 2491-10330; color bands combination DB/DG (left leg): Silver/Blue (right leg); banded as a part of a monitoring study at Arkansas State University.
