Both webs filled primarily with chironomids.
About 3m from heavily vegetated open pond, this corridor is shaded, full of tall brush, and away from the edge of the pond making it a likely first destination for many newly emerged odonates and occasionally a good spot for a web to snare significantly larger than normal prey.
