What

Hortensis-group Arion Slugs (Subgenus Kobeltia)

Observer

Description

under leaves in residential vegetable garden. Orange sole indicates this slug could be A. hortensis or A. distinctus (not dissected so can't tell). Eggs are clear and area very likely slug eggs (no snails who lay eggs that large occur in this garden), and are a too small and more clear than Arion subfuscus eggs, and are more clear than Deroceras eggs, so I am identifying them as Arion hortensis (or A. distinctus) eggs.
