Description

This tiny blue/gray cup fungus most often grows in patches on well-rotting, moist wood. The fungus is difficult to see with the naked eye and usually is just recognized as a colorful patch on the brown wood. I found these when I was moving a leaf litter- covered stick to photograph another fungus.
