Description

Growing in sand in site partially protected from wave action by reef. Sub-tidal in water of 20 to 50 cm deep at spring low tide.
Diagnostic trident leaf tip. Leaf blade flat with prominent central vein and lateral veins. Leaves up to 15 cm long and 1 to 1.5 mm wide.
This is the southernmost recorded locality for this tropical/sub-tropical marine angiosperm.
