Description

We made a visit to Little Tobago Island today. We encountered probably half a dozen Myiarchus genus flycatchers that were giving a variety of vocalizations. Supposedly Brown-crested Flycatcher and Venezuelan Flycatcher are the commonly expected species here but though I saw the birds pretty well and heard a variety of vocalizations, I was never sure what species I was looking at. I'll post several iNat records of different birds and continue to work on the ID when I get home to other references. On a few of these I got some shots of the rufous vrs brown on the tail feathers which may be helpful for ID, but all the birds were molting which does not help.
