Locally established in indigenous regenerating forest along roadside leading to forest park entrance. An unusual variant with rather narrow phyllodes and a short, erect, sparingly branched growth habit (mostly presented as a small shrub 1.5-2 m tall some individuals up to 4 m tall). In some respects approaches Acacia salicina and A. salicifolia but closest to A. saligna
Voucher collected and will be lodged in AK.
Note I loaded this record up initially in July and I elected to pull this record until I had looked at my specimens properly. Now that I have done so I am loading it up again.
Identification confirmed by Dr R.O. Gardner and Mrs Elizabeth Miller (SCION).
