Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum)

Elevation 6,600+ feet: Other than being taken by the sheer size of these trees it was the combined smell of the air in the proximity of the grove that one remembers, the combination of different coniferous trees found at the site starting with that of the Giant Sequoia. It was a pleasant smell that had somehow been there for what might as well have been an eternity.
