Leaves < 5x long as wide; glabrous leaves and twigs with upper surface dark green and shiny and lower surface distinctly waxy white; crenulate margin (<5 teeth per cm); elliptic leaf shape. Shrub <1m tall on north-facing sandstone ledge with 1-2 other plants of this species. With Primula mistissinica.
