Collected as part of the North American Mycoflora Project 2019 Continental Mycoblitz

Found on the underside of a well decayed hardwood log, alongside a creek in a fairly shaded area. 8 specimens were observed in a rough line along the log, though some were very old, and a few were collected. Appears to be parasatizing a crane fly (Tipula sp.).
