Found crawling right in the middle of the trail after dark. I was very excited about this find and getting the pics because I saw one here last September, but it was too quick for me and I couldn't get any photos. After being picked up and set back down on the side of the trail, the snake buried itself halfway in the sand and became very still. It sat there for a minute and then proceeded to crawl away.
