This frog was calling on my door for over 1 hour. It was the classic fast trill of Cope's. I even had time to play recordings from the internet to verify. Also, this article (https://frogcalls.blogspot.com/2016/03/gray-treefrogs-hyla-versicolor-vs-hyla_29.html?m=1&fbclid=IwAR2VFuum8hqq_RleEqckIWqfqTi6vu3gQENyiyyyGvLX-qZheAPhoDWOo00) states that H. versicolor does not occur in Mississippi.
