Growing on the underside of a Prunus serotina stick. Discs white. Exterior covered with hyaline, clavate, septate hairs roughened over their entire length. Hairs capitate and 3-septate. Hair measurements: (48.1) 54.6 – 71 (73.1) × (4.9) 4.93 – 6.1 (6.2) µm, Q = (8.8) 9.8 – 12.6 (14.3); N = 7, Me = 61.5 × 5.4 µm; Qe = 11.4. Paraphyses lanceolate, 2.1 – 3.9 µm wide (N = 10). Asci unitunicate, inoperculate and with croziers, 8-spored and with bluing apical pores. Asci measurements: 35 – 39.6 × 3.9 – 5.2 µm, Q = 7.2 – 10.2; N = 5, Me = 37.9 × 4.5 µm; Qe = 8.5. Spores hyaline and thin-walled. Spore measurements: (5.1) 5.6 – 7.2 (8.1) × (1.3) 1.5 – 1.8 (2) µm, Q = (3.2) 3.4 – 4.1 (4.7); N = 30, Me = 6.3 × 1.7 µm; Qe = 3.8
