Description

Growing on irrigated wood chips. Spores thin walled, amyloid. Caulocystidia present, and cheilocystidia clavate without long necks. Crushed mushrooms smell conspicuously like bean sprouts. While the above features seem to match M. leptocephala, the spores are around 6-8 microns long, while leptocephala has spores 7.5 to 12 microns long.
