Juvenile Cunningham's skink, deceased and missing its tail :(
Identified as Egernia cunninghami on Bowerbird by Matthew Connors: "A skink rather than a monitor! Note the large smooth scales on the head - a monitor would have lots of very small bead-like scales. Poor thing :("
