Vagrant limpkin in northern Ohio. It was eating snails prolifically, and I am very interested in their identification. I saw it catch a few dozen snails, and all looked to be the same species or very similar. It has been suggested that they might be in the genus Stagnicola. Any ID help would be much appreciated!
