Description

A low Opuntia that has started to invade the surrounding area through the detachment of some joints.
Joints are not truly erect nor truly prostrate but procumbent.
I have seen this prickly pear also in gardens.
Definitely not O. microdasys even though I cannot exlude that it is a hybrid.
Epidermis is not hairy but papillose.

Could someone provide an identification? Thanks!
