I am guessing this plant is the Podocarpus grayae— a member of the Podocarpaceae family. As a whole, the plant was the size of a small tree. Leaves were simple and the arrangement was alternate. The leaf margin was entire and the shape was linear. I did not see any stipules. The undersurface of the leaves were pale and smooth. The leaf length-breadth ratio was L16, meaning more than 4.0. The leaf venation was L28: other type of venation. Observing the photos, you can see that short petioles are present.
