Kathy's Daycare Center
Years ago Kathy released several black vultures back into the wild & they decided to stay in the area. They grew up & had babies of their own. Several of the adult vultures started bringing their babies & leaving them during the day at the rehab facility to enjoy the free wading pools, snacks, entertainment and company of all the guests and residents there. The parents pick the children back up and take them home in the evenings. Kathy told me this was one of the older children and had been dropped off by mom earlier that morning. It was happily sitting there, taking in the sights.

Mama & Junior
While we were standing there, Mama arrived to check in with Junior. She is the larger one on the left.

Snuggles With Mama
Junior leaned into Mama and they did some snuggling before she flew off again and left him in our supervision once again. What a cool experience.
