Description

Single, growing in grass with alder nearby. Was exposed to direct sunlight and wind, so is dehydrate a a bit old.

Was yellow upon damage to stem, and lighter yellow on rest of the stem. Stem hollow and when touched damage would rub off 'dust' on the surface of the stem.

Cap has

Spores brown under KOH mounting solution. This surprised me. Have germination pore.

Pavement Cells to my untrained eye looked different than 'normal' for gills. Very round and gaps in between. Two photos attached.

No evidence of a ring. Gills either free of just adnate.
