Description

Plant mat-like, prostrate-pendant, in a moist area on north-facing cliff. Main stem segments between branch forks <3cm. Leaves green, without any red [on 2nd thought, this is debatable], of equal length, ~3mm long, scale-like, minutely toothed, tipped with bristles that are <1mm long, < leaf width, leaves of main stem more or less alike, not swept upward, not decurrent. Leaves on main stem adnate to stem (distinct from stem in color).
No reproductive parts were present.

(Thanks to Carl Rothfels and Chlorophilia for help with the ID).
