Tree 16 metres tall. Bark rough throughout, very finely fissured, grey. Leaves discolorous, glossy and dark green above. Growing on hillslope with Corymbia citriodora and C. trachyphloia.

Adult leaf with transmitted light, scale bar 1 cm long.
