Black Vultures stopped vehicular traffic a number of times as the birds crossed back and forth across the street and stood in the street. The vultures were in at least eight trees on both sides of the street, on the front and back porch of a house, down the dirt path beyond the house and in a field across the street from the house. In addition to the mutual preening, there were a few brief squabbles, where one would open its wings and run/fly/chase another across the street or in the front yard.
