A white, 4-parted, 1/2" to 1" wide flower, forming a dense cluster (raceme). Plant height is 8" to 20" tall.
A native Special Concern flower.
Likes moist to wet and cold habitat in part shade to shade.
Swamps, bogs.
Blooms April - July.
