Description

Note: I didn't observe this myself.

A friend of a friend in Switzerland wants to know if this is a snake or blindworm. I think it’s a blindworm because, behind the head, it has a narrower neck and then tapers out for shoulders. The head is also too deep but that's more of a judgement call. CV agrees with me. Can someone take it to a finer ID?

Detailed location info: “Up in the mountains of Canton URI. Middle of the country....about 9000 feet in elevation I think. Near Arnisee.”
