Locally common in mixed pohutukawa (metrosideros excelsa) / rawiri (Kunzea linearis) forest bordering coast swamp forest. Fruiting bodies colonial, pale apricot orange to orange-white, with stout stipe, then much divided, apices of divisions acute.
