Five centimetres high with slightly fleshy, lobed leaves. Flower buds seem large in proportion to the plant. Prominent black bracts at the base of the bud. Will need photos of the base and open flower. Growing in sandy, open areas. Confirmation whether native to SA or introduced would be appreciated.
