Description

Kaʻū silver sword flower head with yellow-faced bee gathering pollen. Both species are endemic to Hawaiʻi and federally endangered. 📷Janice Wei. Note: the Kaʻū silversword is the more correct common name, preferred by botanists over Mauna Loa silversword.
