Let's work together to record and identify as many species as possible while we're at MEarth. Remember that we are looking to identify a variety of species versus record number of individuals.

We are going to use iNaturalist to track our observations in this area. Please keep in mind the observation protocols that we use when conducting research with quadrats:
• Location: you must observe in one location. Do not bounce around from one site to another.
• Only record the organisms that are within the boundary of your quadrat.

Record your observations in iNaturalist by snapping a photo of your organism. If you can identify the species go ahead and include that in your observation. If you're not sure what you're looking at, that's ok. Do your best to categorize the organism.

When you're done talk to a staff member and they will assign you a new location to observe.
