Collaborative project involving BLM, USFWS, Cibola NF, USGS, and EMNRD staff to ground truth a habitat suitability model for Zuni fleabane (Erigeron rhizomatus). This project's primary purpose is to facilitate the recording and identification of associated species at surveyed ground truthing points.
Observations must be manually added to this project by observers or other project participants. To add an observation to the project follow the following steps on the iNaturalist website:
1) Join the project
2) Navigate to a particular observation, locate the Projects field on the right hand column, click in the empty text box and select the project name: "2023 Zuni Fleabane Ground Truthing Surveys"
3) Enter the ground truthing point Site ID Number, click "Add", then select "Add to Project"
4) Wait for Patrick Alexander (@aspidoscelis) or other qualified botanist to ID or confirm the ID of your plant!
