Observations from Walter Scott Reserve, a 40 ha Forest and Bird reserve on the southern slopes of Mount Pirongia. The reserve sits between Pekanui and Scott Roads, and there is a car park at the end of Scott Road from which a walking track circles the reserve.
Observations recorded here will help build a picture of the values and threats to the reserve and surrounding area.
