Cultivated / Captive Plants

Hi everyone,

Here is a summary of what we discussed at the end of class today on submitting observations of cultivated or captive plants:
-No observations of house plants or flowers.
-Avoid man-made gardens and landscaped areas.

Questions to ask yourself when submitting plant observations:

-Is the specimen planted in mulch?
-Is the specimen located next to another man-made object like a building or side walk?
-Was the specimen planted there purposely for visual appeal?

If your answer is yes to any of these questions, please check that your plant observation is captive/cultivated when you submit it. If you have already submitted your observation, please edit it to indicate it is a captive or cultivated plant.

If you have any questions, please contact the instructor.
