Biodiversity Ilo

Crabs, worms, starfish, clams, & more: spineless critters living within the temperate Humboldt Current faunal province. Currently our group of researchers from the USA & Peru are surveying intertidal & subtidal invertebrates found near Ilo, Peru. This is part of a larger project comparing the invertebrate diversity between Northeast and Southeast Pacific coastal regions. Both are hotspots in terms of number of species and habitat complexity. less ↑
